Introduction

"Silence and Vast: From Memory to History - Yang Beichen Solo Exhibition" ————— Lecture Series on Nostalgic Life Aesthetics

Life is a means of survival for human beings composed of food, clothing, housing and transportation, and life aesthetics is the expression of people's life tastes.
In the torrent of time, what beautiful tastes and beautiful sounds have gradually become a distant memory, replaced by today's trendy and novel experiences, and gradually distanced from our sight and life.
Re-exploring the aesthetics of life, you will still find that the classic traditions are timeless, and these good memories will make you and I will never forget them. It turns out that nostalgia is a mood, and retro is an attitude. This series of lectures is divided into auditory and taste journeys. Let us explore the past together and regain the beauty of nostalgic life.

Lecture 2│ The happy taste of Taiwanese cakes

Pineapple cake, mung bean fen,...Which one is your favorite? Miaoli belly button cake, Lugang water phoenix cake, Hualien record cake, Changhua Gushan roast... Which ones have you tried? Treasure Island's food is world-famous, but is there a pastry culture comparable to Japanese wagashi? There is no doubt that Taiwan's pastry world will not only let you experience a nostalgic trip, but will also widen your horizons and be amazed by the pastry culture.
