Trees in the Shadow

Introduction
Glimpsing your profile in the fog, I try to delineate your look using a paint brush. However, no matter how realistic the delineation seems, it is only your shadow. This is just like the instant of capturing a heart-touching moment when feeling the memory stored in every leaf as we traverse through the living network filled with plants. The exotic plants from desolate lands are poems composed by deserts. Every line of their veins is a narrative of life. The series Trees in the Shadow draws inspiration from precious and rare desert plants. In the form of realistic plant specimens, the distinct leaf shape and colors of the plants are represented, restoring the beauty of their lives. Before life fades away and with much admiration, the artist portrays the blossoming and unfolding of plants, transforming each plant held close to her heart into a unique existence, while highlighting the inseparable and unparallel bond between life, memory and plants. May the rhythm of life and the liveliness of plants be transformed into everlasting beauty.
