"The Home of the Soul - Li Zuxin Solo Exhibition" - Art Education Promotion Activity

In the context of artistic development, sketching has always been in an indispensable position.


Although it seems to be a draft before the official creation, the sketch actually has a wide range of expressiveness and creativity. This activity hopes to escape the imagination of the sketch and integrate it into Li Zuxin's past teaching courses.

Through a one-hour guided tour and three hours of painting, the audience re-understands and enriches the three-dimensional imagination of Mr. Li Zuxin.

Realism is an introduction to art appreciation and art learning, and sketching is an indispensable part of it.

Sketching is the intention to use monochrome materials to paint on a certain plane material. Through the observation of light and shadow and the stacking of brushes, the depicted objects are gradually presented three-dimensionally. It is also the cornerstone of other plastic art creations.

If you love contemporary realism, the most important realistic art is the appreciation and learning of sketches. This summer, Yuxiu Art Museum has opened two special sketching courses, allowing everyone to experience this independent knowledge and experience the most exotic sketching experience.

Micro sketch│ 06/29(Sat) 13:00-16:00

Observation is the most powerful way to learn to sketch. Through a large number of observations in a short period of time, I consider myself as a photographer to condense and describe the most tense scenes around the environment onto drawing paper. In the course, the teacher will carefully guide you to understand the relationship between light and shadow, point, line and surface in sketching and the composition of the picture.

Composite media experiment sketch│ 08/17(Sat) 13:00-16:00

Get out of the imagination of sketching, use various objects to paste to produce different textures, create high and low, concave and convex layers, and present the most interesting painting plane. On the richly layered surface, mixed water and toner are used to create the effect of different shades and concentrations, and then drawn in detail to present an experimental sketch with unique personal taste.

This course refers to the basic sketch course planned by Li Zuxin when he was teaching at Hsinchu University of Education.

Currently teaching at National Taichung University of Science and Technology General Studies Center as an adjunct lecturer

Xu Canlin is a graduate student of the Creation Group of the Art and Labor Education Institute of Zhushi Normal University, and also a student of the current exhibition artist Li Zuxin. Currently committed to art education, the promotion of realistic art.
